London: MacMillan & Co. LTD, 1959. Book. Near Fine. Cloth. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. A unique three volume set. The notation in "Essays and Introductions" is " Uniform with this volume...Autobiographies Mythologies" . All are bound alike with like DJs. Essays and Introductions is a First edition, Autobiographies is the 1961 Reprint, and Mythologies is a First Edition. Bound in lime green cloth with gilt tiles to each spine All exteriors are at least VG+ with only some minor crimping to spine ends and minimal other signs of wear. Gilt is bright. Insides are unmaked ( save for a neat gift inscription for the set), crisp and modest/even toning. Also laid in is a return post card to Macmillian for future mailings of new issues. Portrait frontispieces ( different) in all three volumes of Yeats. 369pp., 592 pp., and 530 pp. DJs are all cream with red tile framing to the front and red lettering front and spine. DJs show modest/moderate wear around the spine tops but much less elsewhere. No other such sets found on Abe as of June 2021. SCARCE thus..
