Oxford University Press, London, 1939. First Edition. Softcover (Stiff Boards). Very Good Condition/Good. Illustrator: Gilbert Dunlop. Colour illustrated frontispiece and the decorations within the text have been drawn by Gilbert Dunlop. Gray coloured paperback binding with red coloured decoration and titles to the front panel and red titles to the back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. A another investigation by Freddie Browne and Jim Fanshaw. The murder of Sir Martin Harker, was very puzzling, and, before the surprising truth was revealed both Freddie and Jim were in danger. A little chipping and sunning of the back strip edges with creasing of the book corners. Age toning and very faint foxing to the textblock edges and pages. Some marks and faint foxing to the first few and last book. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and of the back strip edges. Heavy rubbing along the fold over creases and there are some splits to the front rubbing, sunning and marks to the dustwrapper panels.
