DJ shows light shelf/edge wear, chip at heel (where DJ stuck to spine heel), light rubbing, else clean. Orange cloth boards, gilt lettering. 8vo. 256pp.
Found guilty in the 1840s of poisoning her husband and stealing a diamond necklace, the case was quite infamous. Noted flaw (reversible) notwithstanding, a very nice copy of this increasingly uncommon volume.
