Ex-library with spine label removed, small bookplate on the blank side the front fly leaf, card pocket on the black side of the rear fly leaf, the EP maps are fully intact and not damaged, no writing or making on pages other than a small library stamp on the corner of the title page, no foxing, solid binding. The book measures 221mm tall x 140mm and has 252 pages, 1 colour & 60 b/w photos, 5 maps, bibliography, index. Author's accounts of wandering around Turkey between 1955 & 1962. Includes 3 ascents of Mt Ararat, an ascent of Mt Demavend (5670m) the highest point in Turkey, & other climbs in Turkey. one of few books on climbing in Turkey.
