About This Item

Oldham, Beddome & Meredith Pty. Ltd, Hobart, 1944. Reprint. Grey Paper. Poor/Poor. 60pp., last 2 blank. Black-and-white illustrated frontispiece, showing a young boy looking at an aeroplane. Grey coloured covers with purple writing on the front panel. The book is rubbed, and quite sun affected -- which has caused brown ing to the edges of both the front and back panels. Marking to the endpapers and previous owner's name on the free front endpaper with a gift inscription on the verso. A little browning to the internal pages. This poem was written by a woman in Hobart during world War II to celebrate the life and the eventual death of her son, who had joined the Royal Australian Air Force at the beginning of World War II. Size: 12mo (standard paperback). Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 500 grams.
