About This Item

Chicago: Publishers, The Book House for Children, 1953. Hardcover. 224p., dark blue oilcloth gilt-titled and -ruled, with onlay color cover illustration. Case-binding is generally very good but has an unobtrusive small ding near heel of spine and a little wear to top rim. Onlay is lightly rubbed. Drawings in b&w and in colors throughout are in fine condition; the splendid double-fold endsheets have one small smudge in one corner. No ownership or other markings, a good to very good copy.
