New York; (1938): Carlyle Straub. Limited Edition. Thick Quarto. First printing limited to 3000 copies. The present copy is number 677. Portrait frontispiece, 866pp.plus a reproduction of the original manuscript for The Raven tipped in, reproduction a a manuscript letter from Poe tipped in, reproduction of the original newspaper publication of The Raven from The Evening Mirror and The American Review folded and tipped and a reproduction of the poem Eulalie tipped in, and an index, with several pages listing contributors. A fine bright copy bound in 1/4 beige buckram over blue cloth covered boards decoratively stamped in blind, lettering gilt. In very good pictorial dust jacket with chipping to spine ends, closed tear to rear panel and chipped from corners. In all, a very nice copy.
