Bound in printed yellow wrappers. 6.25" x 3.75" "In the 1840s, Charlotte N. Winslow developed a medicine to quiet restless and teething infants and children. Her daughter and son-in-law, Lucy and Jeremiah Curtis, became proprietors of the patent medicine. The syrup had 65 mg morphine per fluid ounce" (WorldCat note).
