He had come to Canada in 1819, settling on 200 acres in the Trafalgar Survey (between Trafalgar Road & 6th Line, centred between Derry and Britannia Roads). The material in this book was derived from a series of taped conversations with Amy Howes Merry in 1976 by Lou Bradley.
