Pages are moderately tanned. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and noticeable rubbing to surfaces.

Nice looking elaborately stamped front cover. 174 pages printed on thick paper. Illustrated in colour by Frank Reynolds. 25 color plates tipped in with tissues. No date but the 1910 illustrated edition judging from name and "1910" ink inscription with on blank prelim. Tightly bound. Half-tile has some foxing and last few leaves have some foxing otherwise text and plates are in very nice shape. A few small spots and imperfections to cover - overall very decent looking. Nice clean text tightly bound. Good or better condition. .

London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1900. Hardcover in acceptable condition. No jacket. This book does not have a publication date. It was not published in 1900. Penned dedication on FEP is dated 1947. Illustrated in colour by Frank Reynolds. Boards are stained, scored and worn. Spine is slightly sunned and marked. Leading corners, edges and spine ends are bumped and worn. Leading corners are nicked. One to three centimetre tears on spine ends. Page block and pages are tanned and marked. Creases and bumps throughout pages. Binding is exposed between some pages but remains intact. Contents are clear throughout. HCW. Hardcover. Acceptable. Illus. by Reynolds, Frank. Used.
