First UK edition, a Fine minus book with crimping to top of spine and some fade to the salmon-colored top stain, in a Near Fine jacket that has touch of edge and corner wear, tiny chip in gutter back board at top of spine, touch of sun toning to spine and along top edges of white flaps. The corners are uniformly clipped and 18s .net price is present. This copy very tight and unread. The UK edition does not have the B/W photos, 8 pages mostly from Paris in the 1920s, that are included in the Scribners edition. See Grissom bibliography A.36.2a.
