A Moveable Feast by Hemingway, Ernest - 1964

New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1964. Sketches of the author's life in Paris in the twenties. Beautiful book with light green covering 3/4 of the boards. The light green looks and feels like hand-made paper. The other 1/4 covers the rest of the front of the book and the spine is orange with gold printing on spine. Gold gilt printing of Ernest Hemingway's signature on front cover. The book is in near NEW condition inside and out. On the rear board the Scribners' Device (logo) is in gilt on the orange part of the back cover. Green endpapers. The Dust cover is of an oil painting of Pont Neuf, Paris by Hildegard Rath. Top of the inside flap of dust jacket states : Book-of-the-month club selection. The D.J. has a few tears on top and bottom edges and one small chip 1/4 inch missing. Back of dust jacket is an oil painting done by Henry Strater. Various Photographs of Hemingway at different ages and Zelda, Scott and Scotty Fitzgerald . 211 pages. Owner's signature.
