Spine strip lifted from upper board but completely attached to back board. Gilt decoration in very good condition on front and back boards. Marbled edges.Corners bumped. First owner's inscription dated 1859. New sticker also on front endpaper "By subscription only... Color fold out map of the world as know to ancients and scripture writers... Illustrated with steel engravings." A well cared for volume for Christian study.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
