About This Item

Paris: Calmann-Levy, 1965. Paperback. 281p., illustrated from period woodcuts showing Russian soldiers, their weaponry, their horses and how outfitted, Moscow as it were from the air, also outlying regions. Softbound in 8x5.5 inch decorated wraps, mild edgewear to covers and a reader's crease to spine panel, generally sound and entirely clean and unmarked. A good to very good copy with, laid in, a leaf torn out of a Maggs catalogue (1265?) and its description of an original edition that passed through their hands (a vellum folio in Latin, good copy @ 3500 pounds -postage extra!).
