Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout. Pencil inscription to front pastedown and endpaper. Stamping and pen to rear pastedown and endpaper. Heavy cracking to rear hinge, with exposed netting. Moderate tanning and foxing to endpapers. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate scratching and marking to boards. Moderate tanning to spine, which has mild crushing and wear to ends. Book has forward lean.

Good (spine faded; corners edges with wear). 319 pages.Author, columnist Sidney Skolsky's copy signed and dated Oct. 18, 1928 on front free endpaper and with Skolsky' owl bookplate. Skolsky's article appears on pages 152-157.
Skolsky (1905-1983) met Marilyn Monroe in the early 1950's and was responsible for promoting her career. In 1954 he wrote the first book on Monroe. See "The Unabridged Marilyn…" pages 482-483.
