London, United Kingdom: Hutchinson & Co., 1929. Bound in the publishers red cloth with contrasting black title lettering to spine. An excellent collection of nine short stories from this great Czech writer including the title story 'MONEY' The book is the third impression and this is duly stated on the title page. Book sits solid and sqaure with no inscriptions. A very decent copy. Housed in an even earlier (second impression) dustwrapper with the very rare colourful wraparound advertising band featuring newspaper reviews. Dustwrapper a little dusty overall with minor signs of handling otherwise a lovely example of the striking dustwrapper. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve for preservation. A very nice copy indeed. A writer who is extremely well known both in the UK and the USA as a forerunner and pioneer of early science fiction and a fine craftsmen in that particular genre. Scarce in the surviving dustwrapper.. THIRD IMPRESSION. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. 3rd Impression.
