Blue coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Illustrated dustwrapper with blue coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Softening and rubbing to the backstrip edges and rubbing of the top book corners and lower book edges. Light tanning of the text block edges along with foxing. Offset tanning to the end pages along with some foxing and the pages are age toned with the very occasional foxing spot. The dustwrapper is in deplorable condition – please see photograph. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and lower backstrip edge. There is a 3.5" tear jagged tear from the top left-hand corner of the front panel to the rear panel which is crumpled and creased. There is a 1 inch tear to the top edge of the rear panel which has a piece missing. The rear fold over creased has a 5 inch split to the lower edge and a 3 inch split to the top edge.
