Not only examples of major illustrators such as Walter Crane, Kate Greenaway, Howard Pyle, as well as Whistler, Beardsley with notes on the techniques used. Bound in self-wrappered stiff paper printed in black, darkening to spine, rear wrapper with a red stain, bookplate of Christie Chetwynd Atkinson, D.D., Rector of Ashton-upon Mersey 1910-1911, and vicar of St. Mary among other appointments.
