About This Item

Rare first edition of this famous ballet book, and one of the most fundamental ballet publications in the beginning of the 20th Century. 133 numbered pages plus extras, many illustrations including some in color, photographs. Many of the illustrations are by Bakst. Original covers in light green cloth, professionally repaired, faded colors, but in good condition. Handwritten in ink on the back of front page, signed and dated in 1944 by another hand. In overall very good condition.
