Dark pink coloured and pages. 1/4 blue coloured cloth covered backstrip with gilt coloured titles. 3/4 lighter blue coloured boards with gilt facsimile of author's signature to the lower edge of the front panel. Hot pink coloured endpapers. Plain text dustwrapper with gilt and red coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Black-and-white photograph of author to the rear dustwrapper panel. A story that spans most of the 20th century and it is the story of Gideon Zadok. From a Russian shtetl to Hollywood then to Israel and finally the 1956 Sinai War. It is also a story of ambition, fear, desire and ambition. A rather nice clean copy with the minimum signs of handling. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [12], 3-435, [3] pages..
