Stanford, CA: Stanford University Press, 1932. 108 pages. Two letters and a newspaper clipping of the author's death are laid in. The first letter, actually taped in, is from the author to a previous owner of the book congratulating her on the arrival of her baby girl. It is dated 29th, 1910. The second letter laid in is dated April 12, 1938 and is addressed to the same previous owner of the book, though this letter if from Mary Smith Calvin, the book author's daughter. This letter discusses some memories of the recipient's friendship with her mother, and of memories growing up and visiting the receipient. Above the book plate on the front paste down, is an inked notation in the hand of the previous owner and dated 1937. The covers show a couple of light scuffs.
