Inhambane, Mozambique, 1920. Very Good. Bag (approximately 18 x 24cm.) made out of a bark blanket (Mputu tree) by students at an unidentified mission in Mozambique. Folded in quarters in worn contemporary cardboard box. Printed on the bag, "Souvenir of Inhambane, East Africa" and the Royal Arms of Portugal. Includes a printed sheet describing how the bark blanket was made. At the bottom of the sheet, "Printed on the mission press by native boys."
