Libraries Board of South Australia, Adelaide, 1960. Facsimile Edition -- First Thus. Hardcover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. IX, 10-109 pages, a further 19 pages of advertisements, list of subscribers, preface by a author. At the rear of the book is a four-page, foldout map, showing principal mines of South Australia in 1863. At the beginning of the text and at the end of the text is a red coloured paper "covers" -- as for the original edition. Tan coloured textured cloth covered boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. A little rubbing to the book corners. This book was first published in 1863 and this is a facsimile edition put out by the Libraries Board of South Australia -- Number 48. A book about the principal mines, smelting facilities of South Australia in the middle of the 19th century and a brief description of each along with a small travel log and incidences that happen within the authors' travels.
