A superbly tight and handsome first edition of this well-illustrated study, handsomely inscribed and signed on the front flyleaf in black ballpoint by the prolific writer and railroad specialist (1932-2008): "For a retired Jim, / now you can read. / Enjoy / John Tigges / 22 November '94."
