Also includes original promotional materials ( publisher's letter and copy of NY Times article about Frey.) This is the book that Oprah promoted as a hard-edged truthful story of the author's rise from addiction, only to be embarrassed when it came out the author had added bits and pieces from other people's lives and from his imagination. After this happened, the publisher had the author write an explanation/apology detailing where the falsities were and etc. I am including this shrink-wrapped insert with the book. It's a good, well-told story, even if largely imaginary. Additional insert clrifies the facts. Rare and collectible.
