(London): G. Hill, 1882.. 1882.. Good. - Octavo, printed self-wraps sewn with cream cord. 32 pages. The title & last page are soiled. The front edge of the title is chipped; there is a crease to its bottom corner & a price-sticker has been partially removed from its top corner. The bottom corner of the last leaf is creased & torn. The remaining page corners are lightly bumped with creasing to the bottom corners of 2 rear leaves. Good. <p>"Nothing less than direct representation to the coming Water Board will satisfy the ratepayers of the Metropolis....It would be a wholesome check on the members of that board if they were elected--as I trust the new water authority will be--by the suffrages of the ratepayers, and the votes of the water consumers...." [From a Thomas Wiseman letter quoted in the press and reprinted in this pamphlet].<p>Scarce.
