Book is from the Writers Guild of Alberta library, with fairly minimal library markings (front pocket, stamp inside rear cover) in very good condition. Appears that a sticker may have been neatly removed from cover spine. Pages are clean and intact, no markings other than mentioned. Cover has some scuffing and light wear to corners, slight corner curling. "When Manitoba entered confederation in 1870, the Dominion government promised to give the Metis population a large amount of land.
