Blue gilt stamped cloth spine, brown paper over boards, frontis of the Academy's building in New York city, xi + 231 pp., a veritable who's who of the American literary and art world, including William Dean Howells, Mark Twain, Henry James, Theodore Roosevelt, Winslow Homer, Joel Chandler Harris, Julia Ward Howe, John Muir; each former member has a portrait with facsimile signature and a short bio. Corners and spine ends bumped, covers rubbed, a number 15 written in red pencil in blank margin page 3; otherwise, a very nice copy, clean, no writing or marks, binding tight. Quantity Available: 1.
