An expanded version of an article in the Gentleman's magazine, Sept. 1799. Reprinted with additions from the short memoir published in Gentleman's Magazine, Sept. 1799. Full leather with spine label. Some of the backstrip is missing, as is a little bit of the label. Joints cracked. Covers worn and very rubbed. Cracked hinges. Foxing and mottling to the pages. Several pages have edge tears. Scattered notations in light pencil throughout text. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 118 pages .
