The text is in English and French. The French text is printed in the familiar script used in the Babar books. There are many illustrations on every page of Babar and the de Brunhoff family, interspersed within the text. The English translation is by Phyllis Rose, Laurent's wife who also published the book to celebrate Laurent's 80th birthday, Babar's 75th birthday and the 15th anniversary of her marriage to Laurent. This is LIMITED TO 500 COPIES SIGNED BY LAURENT DE BRUNHOFF. This would be a wonderful addition to any De Bruhoff collection.
