A fine example of this collectible first edition first printing title. Published in a limited edition of 1500 copies. This is one of the 500 copies that was not signed or numbered, and therefore ironically appears to be less common than the signed copies. This title was issued without a jacket, and this copy does not have the envelope that the numbered copies had. If you are a Gaiman collector you will be aware what a superb book this is, the haunting story of Melinda. Fully illustrated by artist Dagmara Matuszak, with 48 bold and stark black and white images, there are also eight beautiful colour plates hand mounted and tipped in, including the colour plate to the upper board. This copy has very light rubbing to the silver gilt of the title, as is common with this title, but in all other respects is a fantastic fine copy. A very scarce title in the UK
