This is the first American edition which was preceded by the English edition by Ward Lock published in 1928. States first edition on the copyright page. The first appearance of The Saint. Some small closed tears to the spine (approximately 1/2 cm). Two small stamps from a previous owner inside back cover. Light rubbing to the edges of the boards. Spine shows some fading. Small magic marker stain to bottom foredge. Binding is tight.
