There is also a small brown stain on the bottom edge of a few pages. Does not affect the text. There is a PON and a drawing on the front endpapers. Title page is loose, but overall, the binding is still quite tight. There is no publishers date, but most likely is very early 1900s. Pictorial cloth-covered boards have moderate soiling, edgewear and bumped corners. Tan hardcover.

Volume measures 5 1/8 inches by 3 1/4 inches. Presentation on the verse of the title page. Index at rear. Illustrated with numerous text illustrations. Number in ink on the bottom of the title page, otherwise the interior is clean. The cloth over the boards has separated in some areas and the front cover has a minor stain near the bottom. A charming miniature book.
