vintage 1926 hardcover has rubbing and wear to orange boards, corners bumped and rubbed and worn, edgeworn and rubbed at spine, top spine edge frayed, small approx 1/2" chip off top corner edge, some pocks and dents to boards, title page loosening at top, spine cocked, prev owner embellished name in pencil on front flyleaf otherwise nice clean pages and still in all an acceptable and solid, clean nice reading and reference copy of this wonderful Indiana basketball classic of the Twenties.

Otherwise-sharp binding shows some odd age toning, though text block fine and pristine; mild jacket edgewear. A superb and handsome early reprint edition of the first title in the short-lived "Fighting Five Basketball Series," which appears to consist of three titles only. Uncommon, especially in a nice jacket.
