George G. Harrap & Company Ltd, London Bombay Sydney, 1932. Reprint. Hardcover. Good/No Dust Jacket. Red coloured cloth covered boards with black coloured embossed decoration and titles to the front panel and back strip. First published in 1920, this book finds Martin Vaile on a mysterious island, which turns out to be a relic of Atlantis. The book is showing age and use  please see photograph. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges with very noticeable fading also present. Bumping to the book corners, rubbing of the book edges. Rubbing and fading of the cloth of the book with stains to the rear panel. Light tanning of the text block edges and pages they few foxing spots to the text block edges. Offset tanning to the end pages with original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. The hinge has cracked between the free front end page and the following page with the underlying webbing visible. Gift plate to the free front end page  dated 1934. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
