London: Chatto & Windus 1956. (Hardcover) 229pp. Very good in very good dust jacket. Pale green cloth with gilt lettering and decorations on the spine. The dust jacket is price-clipped and faded along the spine with a tiny chip to the top of the spine and light creasing and toning to the top inner flaps. "Most of these essays appeared in the Athenaeum under the title MARGINALIA and over the signature AUTOLYCUS. The others were first printed in the Weekly Westminster Gazette, the London Mercury, and Vanity Fair (New York)" - from the Note. Publisher series: Collected Works of Aldous Huxley 6. (Ideas, Essays, Ideas, Literary Criticism).
