Paris: Alphonse Picard et Fils, 1904. Hardback. Good/No Jacket. 3382 8vo. Two volumes, 1902 and 1904, I Architecture Réligieuse, II Architecture Civile et Militaire. Quarter leather, red marbled boards, marbled end papers. Many illustrations- line drawings, plans and photographs. Volume 2 has a gift note, on headed paper from the Institut de France Académie de Beaux Arts, dated 6 X 1903, bound or tipped in (rather hard to tell) after the front free end paper. Condition notes: Leather and boards rather rubbed and bumped, age tanning to paper, occasional faint pencil notes to margins. Volume 1 has boards and spine detached (in one piece), otherwise all sound and firm. A handsome set.

INCLUDES A LETTER AND POSTCARD SIGNED BY ENLART TO PREVIOUS OWNER. Full of detailed illustrations and pictures. Text unmarked. Pages lightly tanned. Covers (raised band leather spines with marbled boards) show heavy edge wear with rubbing/scuffing. Corners bumped. Hinges cracked but bindings intact. FRONT COVER AND FRONT END PAPERS OF VOLUME 1 DETACHED BUT PRESENT. Heavily used with covers in poor condition but pages still quite good.....legible/readable.
