Toronto: Collins, 1982. Bound in the publishers green cloth boards with bold gilt title lettering to spine. The 195 pages are in excellent, unmarked condition with no inscriptions and are squarely bound. Housed in the distinctive dustwrapper with a photograph of John Fowles to the rear panel. The front panel shows an etching of Pablo Picasso's Sculptor and Model. The dustwrapper is in fine condition and is protected by a removable plastic sleeve to preserve its condition. A crisp copy throughout. The rather more scarce American first edition than the UK first. The photograph supplied is a picture of the book and the dustwrapper and we are happy to send more images on request.. First Edition. Fine/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. FIRST EDITION.
