London: John Murray, 1817. 80pp. Octavo. Extracted from nonce pamphlet volume, lacking the half-title. A few corners creased, somewhat smudged and occasionally dusty, just near good. First edition, Wise's third "issue" with the added quote on the title and the Davison imprint on the verso of the last leaf. Due to the lack of the half-title, its status according to Randolph's criteria is uncertain. The first edition encompassed 6000 copies. RANDOLPH, p.64-7. WISE, p.123. TINKER 565.
