San Francisco: Solidarity - Gay/Lesbian Liberation, 1982. Handbill. 8.5x11 inch handbill, light handling wear. Announces a protest outside the offices of the SF Examiner to protest a column by Bill Mandel in which he decried the "infantile affectation of Nazi paraphernalia" by two gay men attending a local showing of Mephisto, and by extension other leathermen. The authors of the flyer respond that "There is a drastic difference between consensual acts of harmless sexual fantasies and the forcible victimization of Nazi atrocities. Mandel does not look beyond clothing...
