Faber & Faber, 1942. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1942. First Published. 196 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth. Black and white photographic plates throughout. Binding is shaky, pages slightly loose. Pages and plates have light tanning and foxing throughout. Water staining to top edge of some pages, text remains unaffected. Previous owner's inscriptions and stamp to pastedowns and front free endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Slight crushing to spine ends with splits to spine ends causing cloth to be frayed. Wear marks overall.

Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

Book has mild wear to spine ends and corners, binding tight, almost top half of front flyleaf cut out, otherwise text clean and unmarked but toned throughout. DJ has top front corner missing and hole in front flap hinge, toning and rubbing, chips to spine ends.
