Viking Press, 1959. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Near-fine with a touch of shelf wear, otherwise clean and tight. In a very good plus dust jacket (price clipped) with minor wear at the spine tips and corners, slight foxing to flap folds, and minimal and discreet color touch-up to a couple of rubbed spots along the edge of the spine. SIGNED ("Bemelmans") on the half-title page. Extremely scarce signed.
Synopsis
The Madeline books are among the most honored children's books of all time. Join Madeline in another adventure when she and Pepito run off to join the carnival with a band of traveling gypsies!
