XII, 54 pp., photographic illustrated dustwrapper. 34 photographs in black and white accompany the text. Dustwrapper has numerous small tears and has suffered loss along top of the back panel and the top of the spine, and along the bottom edge of the rear panel; each foldover is rubbed top and bottom. In this book many new and interesting facts regarding the life and habits of the lyrebird are recorded. The 34 photographs are portraits studies, depicting in remarkable clarity and detail many aspects of the domestic and social life of the lyrebird. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
