Small hardback 2nd large printing (according to DJ) with Joe DiMaggio's signature in ink (now a bit faded) on white paper label with perforated edges glued to first free endpaper. Blue cloth covers moderately silverfished with noticeable spine slant, light spotting. Hinges sound, uncracked; pages tight, lightly browned with scattered foxing due to paper quality and age. Frontis photo in b&w of DiMaggio, with intro by James A. Farley, foreword by Grantland Rice. DJ very worn, with significant chipping, tears, fading, browning. ; .
