About This Item

The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: Once upon a time, a poor woman gave birth to a fine baby boy who had one eye of deep brown and one eye of a fine pale blue. The Court Astrologer, who heard of the boy, predicted that because of the strangeness of his eyes he would be a Luck Child and would grow up to marry the King's daughter. When the King heard of this prediction, he was most unhappy. He had no wish to see his beautiful daughtert married to a humble peasant boy. And so he set off on a journey, plotting in his cold heart to destroy the Luck Child. But a Luck Child is a Luck Child and sometimes even Kings cannot prevail against fate. So this story is one of the triumph of good and true over craftiness and evil.
