Black-and-white photographic front cover, same photograph as the frontispiece, with pale green, black and white titles to the front panel and white and pale green titles to the backstrip. Creasing to the book corners and to the backstrip corners. Rubbing along all edges of the book and either side of the backstrip. There is a horizontal crease along the backstrip edge, 1 inch from the top. Rubbing to the book panels. Bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the rear book panel. The remains of a sticker can be seen to the top right-hand corner of the front book panel. These interviews/book was first published in a less expanded version in "The Christopher Street Magazine.
