NY: Associated Booking, 1955. First Edition. Pictorial Paper Covers. Very Good. 20pp; illus throughout from photographs. Armstrong's "concert group" for this appearance included Velma Middleton, Trummy Young, Edmond Hall, Billy Kyle, Barrett Deems, and Mort Herbert. The cover shows Satchmo dressed an an ambassador, a briefcase in his right hand and his trumpet under his left arm. 12" x 9" Signed on the cover by Billy Kyle, although his signature is now faded. Includes "Louis Armstrong, an Official Biography," "Hughes Panassie in the Real Jazz," and "An Appreciation of Louis Armstrong" by Tallulah Bankhead.

[New York]: [Associated Booking Corp.], 1952. Staplebound. Very good +. Large quarto, unpaginated [20pp.], illustrated. Very good or better in the publisher's stapled printed wraps, with some mild creasing. Staples just barely loosening, but still overall sound. This copy boldly SIGNED by Armstrong in a contemporary hand on an internal leaf, which bears a large photographic illustration of him. The souvenir program book is also signed by musicians Squire Gersh, Barrett Deems, Billy Kyle, and Trummy Young.
