About This Item
Paris: Printed by E. Desfosses-Neogravure [for the state], 1949. Pamphlet. Respectively [35] and [25]p., both items are 10x8 inch pamphlets, staplebound. The 1936 piece is illustrated in b&w with facsimiles of documents establishing the game and remarkably clear small photogravures from various periods; somewhat handled and dusty with a touch of rust to staples, a good copy. The 1950 pamphlet is illustrated in yellow monochrome throughout, is aimed at a youthful audience, is rather worn with handling, dusty and spotted with a few small stains, and much rust to staples. The two items as a pair.
