[modest shelfwear, slight deterioration to cloth at spine ends, former owner's signature at top of front endpaper; the jacket is lightly browned along the edges, with a bit of wear along the top edge, a tiny hole in the front hinge, some abrasions to the lower half of the front hinge, and a tiny chip at the bottom front corner of the spine]. Golding's classic about a bunch of "well-brought-up" English schoolboys who find themselves stranded on a deserted island," and descend into savagery. Filmed by Peter Brook in 1963, and again by Harry Hook in 1990; there was also a 1975 Filipino adaptation, and an unofficial 2018 version (LADYWORLD) with an all-girl cast. This was actor/producer/director Norman Lloyd's copy, with his ownership signature on the front endpaper. .
