About This Item

New York: Doubleday & Company Inc. (c.1977) Book Club Edition. 'Loose Change' is about three women and what happened to them during a unique and turbulent decade in America.....the 1960's. It is written by someone who was there...Sara Davidson. It is also about the political and social ferment of the sixties.... the back to nature movement, John and Robert Kennedy, sit-ins and be-ins, Haight Ashbury, the Summer of Love in New York's East Village, mini-skirts, draftcard and bra burning, Woodstock and Altamont, the sexual revolution, the women's movement. B/w photographs present that reflect the events of that period. A generous list of illustrations provided. They are all here: Hell's Angels, Robert Kennedy Assassination, Black Panthers, Bob Dylan and Joan Baez, Mick Jagger, etc, etc. Bright orange boards, black spine. No ownership markings. A very nice clean and bright book in an illustrated dust jacket by Ron Becker.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good.
